YFCamp, where everything changes

WHAT A DAY!!!!!

I would appreciate prayers for me as I'm probably not going to get sleep tonight. I found out I'm heading home at 6am (5am Chicago time) instead of the 9-10am I thought I was. So I'm quickly packing to get my stuff onto the bus tonight, and hoping I can properly function tomorrow morning.

I'm feeling a little discouraged tonight....I feel like I've done a good job, and part of me feels like I've failed some people along the way...I would appreciate prayer and encouragement because it's really getting me down, and I'm trying to be cheerful and happy with the campers...

I found out that a lot of the campers came to know Jesus Christ last night, and have been welcomed into the family! They are all celebrating some of that tonight down at club (which is like campus life on extreme steroids)

Thank you all for your consistent comments and prayers for me and the campers this week. It has truly been a joy to serve these kids and staff this week. I've gotten to know so many people and I am glad I came!

NorthEast,Maryland- NorthBay Camp

There are 483 people here in NorthEast, Maryland...that's including staff and campers...

I've heard so many stories of how Jesus is changing these kids lives, and it's only Day 4! There's so much more He can do in the next few days...I'm excited to see how Jesus is going to change not only the kids I don't know, but the kids that came from LP too!

Thank you to everyone that has been praying for me, it is truly a comfort to know that people are reading, caring, understanding, and loving me from 18 hours away!

Pray for the campers here this week, things are changing here...stories are being told, and healing is beginning! Pray for them that they continue to open up and share with their leaders and other people...

Project serve is where I needed to be this summer...it has changed me, and made me realize things that I wouldn't of other wise (or would have, but wouldn't of changed)

Things have been challenging (lack of sleep, and keeping a good attitude)

Tomorrow is HUGE day for the campers, they will have one on one with Jesus and writing to HIM (or anything/anyone else) I have done this and it is truly amazing and I can't wait to see this from the outside....

The best part of my day is when I'm reflecting on it while writing to you all...thank you for reading(:

NorthEast, Maryland.

I posted on Facebook these updates..hopefully this will help get me started in the blogging process...

Please continue to pray..it's been a long but very very good day! I've been able to speak in some peoples lives, even with only going on 4 hours of sleep, and working since 7am. I'm extremely blessed to be here and already on day 1, I see God working into peoples lives. It is truly amazing!

The work staff had a incredible worship time, and prayed for our campers as they where about to be arriving here. Please be praying for them as they encounter God and hope that all the chains that have held them back be broken this week and their lives be changed forever!

I was overjoyed as the campers arrived, knowing just how much God is going to play into this week! It is truly amazing! Loving the job I was assigned to do, and hopefully doing it well!

Thank you for reading my posts and praying for me this week!!!
